Claude Rousseau is Research Director at Northern Sky Research (NSR), the leading global satellite and space consulting firm. Based in Strasbourg, France, he serves as regional and applications expert and directs both multi-client research reports and consulting projects. He oversees and conducts market research products and services in satellite manufacturing and launch services, satellite applications (Earth Observation, big data analytics, optical communications), smallsats, space tourism, in-orbit servicing, space situational awareness, unmanned aerial systems (UAS), high-altitude platforms (HAPs) and related markets. He has more than 25 years of experience in the space sector in organizations such as the Canadian Space Agency, the International Space University and Futuraspace. He graduated from the University of Calgary (Canada) with a BSc. (Physics and Astrophysics) and from the International Space University (France) with an MSc. (Space studies) where he is currently an Adjunct Professor in business and management.
